Chapter 4 Stella Gracia
(POV: Stella)
Boredom, no; an excessive sense of weary and impatience because of occupancy or lack of interest in everything is what I was feeling right now.
Four days ago I arrived at the academy and honestly I was excited. Rather than excitement, it was a sense of elation because I was going to move to a new environment.
But all my hopes for freedom came crashing down when I noticed the lustful gazes of boys and even some teachers. This was all bearable until I helped a red-haired jackass.
When I was strolling around the academy stalls, an incident caught my attention. Numerous students were gathered in a group acting as an audience to the incident.
When I moved closer and somehow push passed the crowd I saw a red-haired guy fight a group of five boys.
No, it would be funny to call that a fight, it was a one-sided beating. Hearing the murmurs of the people around me I got to know that the red-haired guy was flirting with a girl who was supposedly the girlfriend of the leader of the group beating him.
Then again, seeing that no instructor was interfering I figured the guys came from a high-class background and some of the instructors were under their wings.
So, I decided to step up because any more beating would lead that red-haired guy to his death and clearly he came from a poor background. It wasn't any big of a deal either; for him to get this messed up.
The moment I stepped up the guy who seemed like the leader of the group spoke, "Woah, who's the hot chick ?", and his remark pissed me.
"Am Stella Gracia you horseshit, now would you mind stepping back", I said in an imperative tone.
"Uh-Oh, a big shot! then I apologize for the inconvenient behaviour, 'my lady'", he said in an amused tone emphasising the phrase'My lady' clearly as to mock me.
And added looking at his goons, "Let's go guys, we'll deal with the bugger another time."
As they were leaving I turned around and was about to give support to the guy when instructors on patrol showed themselves.
Talk about being obvious. Further, they inquired about the commotion from me knowing what happened all along.
Anyway from that day, it's been four days and every time I go out on a stroll that red-haired guy who introduced himself as Ryuk Sun-Jung who was also ranked thirty, bugged me every time.
His stalking had become pretty obvious, wherever I went I ran into him and every time he looked at me I felt creepy, he was obviously after me.
So, I decided to stay in my dorm to avoid his presence and here now I am.
I watched TV, but nothing special was being telecasted, I talked to my friends for hours on phone but that's all, and I played the snake game on my phone for hours.
Time slowly went by and now it was evening, I couldn't hold myself back from going out at last.
Wearing a black hoodie, a long black frock and black shoes I exited my dorm and went towards the direction of the lift.
Then I saw a guy entering the lift so I shouted at him, "Hey wait!!", and jogged my way towards the lift.
Entering the elevator I stood beside him and the instant I saw him my heart skipped a beat and my mind went black for a moment,' No frigging way someone can be this handsome', I thought.
A Guy obviously of age fifteen, since he is on this floor, must be a first-year and my neighbour.
Dark purple hair, black eyes, long eyelashes, thick brows, a handsome plus cute face along with silver square framed spectacles and black thread earrings that added to his charm.
He has a slim but muscular physique, broad shoulders and a height of whopping hundred and eighty centimetres.
He turned his face towards me and his gaze was not that of lust, it rather felt comfortable. He was looking right into my eyes, so I stretched out my hand to greet him and said, "Stella Gracia".
In response to my greeting, he shook my hand and replied, "Kael Hashirae"
'Kael Hashirae' is a weird surname but am pretty sure I've read that somewhere, but not gonna lie his vocal chord might be the best in the world and with this large and smooth hand, I don't want to let it go.
But reluctantly I retreated my hand and an awkward silence again ensued in the atmosphere.
'C'mon Stella say something idiot', My thoughts were messed up but I still decided to strike up the conversation, "Going to take a stroll around?",'Please say yes!!!', I thought.
"Yeah, I haven't acquired about the faculty first handily", he replied.
'hahaha, gotcha' '
"Would you like me to be your guide? I have been here for a week so am familiar with the directions", I asked.
"Then I'll be in your care for the time being", he replied.
'Ha,...Perfect'
'Easy peasy lemon squeezy'.
