Haruki’s head began to work frantically.
He had already used up all of Rhea’s and Esta’s skill points.
If Haruki were to spend all of his skill points as well, he would not have any left to allow him to deal with unexpected situations.
He should have a certain buffer in case all goes south.
The fact that only he got to keep a few leftover points might have been seen as unfair, but the future wasn’t set in stone.
It would be better to be as flexible as possible.
